the stellar origin

My beautiful father Peter,
who bonded with my mum Doreen
to form the stellar origin of our
layered nuclear family.

Our family:

  • concentric layers of alpha particles bound together by very strong short-range nuclear bonds
  • a chaotic process in which only the fittest survive
  • a hot core of incredibly dense stars
  • exploding supernovae in the cauldrons of the cosmos

The origin of the structure of our most stable and abundant isotopes …
I cannot claim to comprehend your thesis, but you are the supernova of this stellar nuclear bond.

Happy Father’s Day
